Verellen Law was founded in 2024 by Dr. Thomas Verellen, a lawyer admitted to the Bar in 2012 and a scholar of European Union Law. Driven by a deep interest in global mobility—a passion shaped by his studies at KU Leuven, Utrecht, and Michigan Law, as well as navigating Belgium's immigration system firsthand alongside his partner—Thomas established the practice to bridge legal scholarship with practical, high-stakes advocacy. Based in the Antwerp region, he combines over a decade of hands-on experience with strategic counsel for complex cross-border mobility, Single Permits, and administrative litigation.
